WAREENA PARK COMMUNITY HUB AND SPORTS PAVILION

New, multi-purpose sport, activity and events centre comprising 2 buildings: sports pavilion and community hub. The sports pavilion will cater for the local cricket, AFL and soccer clubs, providing universally accessible and female friendly change facilities.

 

The community hub will provide a “home” for the local Toy Library, Senior Citizens Centre and U3A. The hub will also provide rehearsal and performance space for the local Jazz Band, Stage Band, Chamber Orchestra and newly formed Symphony Orchestra. This project has been designed to achieve 5-Star Greenstar Design and As-Built Rating.
