WARRAGUL LEISURE CENTRE

Comprising the first stage in an estimated $50 million redevelopment and expansion project, the new facilities for the Warragul Indoor Multi Sport and Events Centre include 4 new professional standard indoor basketball/ netball courts with ability to convert to 1 or 2 show courts or

performance arenas with relocatable and/or slide-out seating.

 

The project includes a café and retail zone, administrative functions, 8 athlete and 2 umpire change rooms providing universally accessible and female friendly change facilities, as well as multi-purpose gathering and function rooms.

 

The project involved the engagement with and input of the local school/s and community sports groups as important stakeholders and day-to-day users of the facilities.
